Known as a gim, the double-edged sword was primarily a thrusting weapon, sometimes used in the practice of Tai Chi or modern fencing. While the dao sword is represented as a masculine, offensive, large weapon, a gim is described as feminine, defensive, and small. However, it is best not to under-estimate this double-edged weapon in the hands of a skilled warrior. Our miniature brass replica can be used to open mail perfectly.
