Yamamoto Kansuke was a 16th Century Japanese samurai who was a trusted member of the Twenty-Four Generals. Known as a skilled tactician, he is credited with the success of the Battle of Kawanakajima, despite his untimely death during the battle. Legend has it that Yamamoto Kansuke wrongly believed that his plan was a failure and charged into enemy ranks in one last blaze of glory before being killed. This bronze colored replica of his head and battle helmet as he bravely charged into battle adds a fierce yet refined quality to any home or office.
